Meno ("the app") is a note-taking app designed around disappearing notes. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use Meno.
Meno does not have user accounts and does not operate its own servers. The notes you write are stored only on your device (and temporary notes are deleted automatically by design). We never see, collect, transmit, or store the contents of your notes.
Meno shows optional rewarded ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To deliver and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information from your device, including:
— Device identifiers such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), where you have permitted tracking
— IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location
— Ad interaction and performance data (e.g., ad views and clicks)
— Diagnostic and crash data related to ad serving

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow Meno to track you across apps. If you decline, ads still work but are non-personalized.
European Economic Area & UK users: On first launch you will be shown a consent form for personalized advertising, as required by the GDPR. You can decline and still use the app with non-personalized ads.
Device settings: You can change tracking permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Meno is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Meno itself retains no personal data. Notes exist only on your device and are deleted according to the app's disappearing-note design. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained under Google's policies linked above.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised date.
